Many a young boy first learned of PT Boats from the wild antics of Lieutenant Commander Quinton McHale and the crew of PT-73 in the very popular TV situation comedy McHale's Navy in the early 1960s. We felt there should be something besides TV reruns to honor the contribution that show provided in developing interest in WWII PT Boats, so we put together a design that we think captures the spirit of the crew of McHale's PT-73! It features a beautiful blonde wearing very little clothing, holding a drink and riding a booze bottle across the waves, along with the number of McHale's Boat.
