MTB RON 40 Beach/Bath Towel
The MTB RON 40 Beach/Bath Towel honors the men and boats of Motor Torpedo Boat Squadron 40, a squadron comprised of ELCO 80 foot PT Boats assigned to the Pacific Theater during WWII. This beautiful towel shows the RON 40 squadron badge in the center with the numbers and nicknames of all the boats in the squadron, and the ELCO logo on the left and the Army/Navy E for Excellence Flag on the right. RON 40 entered WWII late and, as a result of that, saw no action against the enemy.
